ECHO Collective Selected as Recipient of Spreetail Foundation’s $60,000 Software Grant
The Spreetail Foundation is proud to announce ECHO Collective has been selected as the recipient of its grant to sponsor a Design Studio project with UNL's Raikes School for the 2024-2025 school year. This grant is designed to support local nonprofits by providing them with the technology and resources needed to enhance their operations and amplify their impact.
ECHO Collective, a Lincoln-based nonprofit, is dedicated to connecting and empowering refugee and immigrant women by providing opportunities for personal growth and building cross-cultural relationships in a nurturing environment. With this grant, ECHO Collective will be partnering with the Raikes School to develop a learning management system that specifically suits the needs of the clients they serve, ensuring their entrepreneurs have the dignity of access to information that can change their trajectory in the American marketplace.
“We are thrilled to support ECHO Collective in their mission to address the multi-dimensional barriers of the women they serve. At Spreetail, we believe in the power of technology to transform lives, and this grant will provide ECHO Collective with the tools they need to continue making a significant impact,” said Brei Holcombe, Director at Spreetail Foundation.
This grant is part of the Spreetail Foundation’s ongoing commitment to strengthening communities by providing critical resources to organizations that are making a difference. By investing in technology for nonprofits, the Foundation aims to drive long-term positive change in the community.
"We are honored to receive this grant from the Spreetail Foundation," said Kelly Ross, Founder & Executive Director at ECHO Collective. "This support will enable us to more quickly assist the outstanding entrepreneurs currently on our year-long waitlist. We are excited about the possibilities this grant opens up for us...not just in Lincoln but nationwide."
The Spreetail Foundation was established to leverage the strengths of Spreetail, a leading global ecommerce company, in supporting nonprofits that align with its core giving pillars of supporting Women in Need, Children in Need, and Unhoused Neighbors.
