What is Spreetail’s work from home policy?
On March 16th, our office team members in Austin, Omaha, and Lincoln made the transition to working from home. We’ve developed a Covid-19 team who continues to monitor regulations in each city we operate in and will be providing a transition plan when it is safe to move team members back to our offices. If you’re new to working from home, check out our tips and tricks to make a smooth transition.
What does the interview process look like?
Currently to keep our team as well as candidates safe, every stage of our interview process is conducted through video.Your recruiter will send you the video links for every stage and will schedule a test call before the final interview. It’s important we give you time to meet with the team you’ll be interacting with the most, so additional virtual coffees may be scheduled for you and your future manager. Since we usually show candidates our offices during the interview process, we encourage you to check out this video for a virtual tour of our Lincoln office or this video to see what you can expect in our Omaha office.
If I join the team, how does onboarding work?
We continue to onboard new hires with start classes occurring once a month. Our IT team ships equipment to new hires prior to starting, ensuring they have the right tools to be successful in their roles. As a new hire, you’ll work with our Onboarding Specialists who developed a three-day virtual curriculum before jumping into role specific training. This team reaches out one week in advance with the schedule and how to connect. You can read more about a new hire’s virtual onboarding experience.
How is Spreetail supporting team members during this time?
Building relationships is an important part of our culture, so additional programming has been implemented to retain this focus. We’ve caught up with coworkers via weekly events such as virtual yoga, quiz bowl, Spreetail Storytime, and coffee connects.
